The Buffalo Bills are one of the most storied teams in NFL history, with one of the most loyal fan bases, and world famous tailgate parties. They have sadly not made the playoffs since 1999. They also hold the dubious honor of being the only team that has not appeared in the NFL playoffs so far in the 21st century. This is also the longest active playoff drought in any major professional sport. They won 4 Conference championships back in the 90s.
As an organization, they have been the home for a number of Hall of Famers, such as O. J. Simpson, Billy Shaw, Marv Levy, Jim Kelly, James Lofton, Joe DeLamielleure, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, Ralph Wilson, Andre Reed and Bill Polian.

Buffalo Bills Record
Key dates in the team history. The winter of 1999. This was the last time the Bills won their way into the playoffs. It’s been a whole lotta nothing since then.
How strong is the team within its division/conference? The Bills sadly play in the same division as the powerhouse New England Patriots. So making the playoffs is tough. They were .500 in 2016 and had a winning record at home.
What are the team’s main strengths vs weaknesses? Tyrod Taylor has Buffalo fans excited for the future. He’s shown flashes of brilliance, but only flashes so far. The Bills need a whole season. Also, defensively they’re supposed to be much better than they are. A few years ago they were one of the top defensive teams in the NFL and have disappointed ever since.
How far does the team usually go in the league? If the D clicks this year, we could be looking at an end to the longest playoff drought in pro sports. Rex Ryan needs to get this team playing as good as it looks on paper. But again, this would be the first time since Y2k the Bills play post-season football.
